It really dawned on me yesterday that a baby will be coming home with us from Ethiopia. A baby who needs a car seat installed in the car, and a stroller that is assembled. And diapers, bottles and clothes. My heart has been ready to receive this baby for over a year, but my head is just now getting used to the idea of a real, living, breathing, little person in our house.

It sounds like my to-do list is growing. Maybe, if we cross our fingers, click our heels, wish really hard... oh yeah, and visualize assembled baby stuff, it will all just work out. What do you think? Besides, we have plenty of time: two more days until we leave. Yikes!

Any updates on how your paperwork is going now that everything is running again!? Just checking in on you guys! Hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and were able to take your mind off things for at least one day! :)
